Motion made by Mrs . Dougher, seconded by Prime to amend
the Rules and Regulations of the deeds of the Pine View
Cemetery. Motion- The Cemetery Commission of Town of
Queensbury hereby amends Rule and Regulation Number Six
by adding the words "or other stones acceptable to the
Cemetery Commission" to the first sentence of said rule.
The motion passed.
Mr. Dunn has talked to BOCES and they are very willing to
create the entrance sign for our cemetery. The sign will
probably be ofd cut stone and the foundation can be done
by our own men when the size is known. This seems a fine
way to obtain a sign.
After contacting several local nursuries, the Commission
has accepted the proposal of Quality Nursery for landscaping
the new section. Total cost of the project will be $1492.
During the meeting, a call was placed to CalS. Development
Corp. and a meeting is planned with their leasing agent and
their maintanace man to go over the situation of the encroach-
ment.
The maple tree authorized last Fall was never planted due
to the early winter. This will be considered again for the
coming Fall.
