Present: Dougher; Edwards, Paul Cushing and Supt. Dunn
John Dunn reported that all area funeral homes have been
notified of the rate change effective January 1 , 1979 .
We discussed the need to advertize the rates and decided that
it was not necessary.
Paul reported on estimates given for constructing the sign:
Adirondack Construction Company $8300
Waggaman & Collyer $5000
With these bids or estimates, it appears that we would have
to put this work out to bid.
Paul will contact BOCES before ournext meeting to see if they
could do the job. John Dunnsaid that his men could put in the
foundation. Sylvia will contact Carl Garb to see if he could
put in the access road; the County will put in the culvert.
Paul said that if we had to go to bid, we could plan on 20%
additional cost on the sign project.
