03-06-1991 PINE VIEW CEMETERY COMMISSION

Present : Dougher, Edwards and Supt . Mosher
There has been an other accident involving damage to the fence at
Mt . Hermon Cemetery. Rodney has had no report yet so the
responsible parties are not known. Rodney will look into the
matter and the Commission will make a decision in April as to
whether to repair the fence again.
Letter received from Paul Dusek, the Town Attorney, regarding the
fee owed the crematory for the refrigeration unit used for Frank
0. Sleight . Payment has been promised within 30-45 days .
All burials have been made in Pine View. Vault contains 11 bodies .
Several trees have been removed; one large one will be taken down
by Adirondack Tree Surgeons . There are some pines on State right
of way along Quaker that need to be removed . Rodney will contact
the County to find out who is responsible for this , State or
County.
Wilton prisoners are working again this year clearing out debris
etc . for two weeks . 7 men are presently at work.
Mike Lopez injured his knee slightly with a chain saw .
Bob Edwards will try to see Paul Naylor about the road into the
Jewish Cemetery. We will discuss the situation in April and try to
reach some solution . A recent burial there brought a complaint as
to the condition of the roadway.
There was no February meeting of the Commission.
