Rodney received a request from Louis J. Gagliano to exchange three
recently purchased lots for three others at the same price . Since
there was no monetary difference, the Commission granted the
request . The Commission will establish a policy for similar type
requests which do involve a difference in the purchase price .
The Commission received a letter from the Deputy Town Attorney,
Karla Corpus, with a resolution from the Town Board regarding the
necessity of hiring the Town Engineer to review the NYS DEC permit
requirements for the new retort . A copy of each is on file .
Rodney reported a theft of petty cash from the Pine View office . A
youth from the CETA program was caught and our funds will be
returned.
A total of 46 cremations were done in August . Saratoga is now
using our facility.
Black topping at the side of the West Glens Falls Cemetery leading
to the Jewish Cemetery should rectify the drainage problem.
Bids will be going out soon for the sale of the old fencing.
Summer help is no longer being used.
