The new retort is working very well and the $42, 411 payment has
been made .
Rodney told the Commission that St . Mary' s no longer has a
receiving vault and that St . Alphonse will no longer be accepting
bodies due to liability. Glens Falls is still receiving bodies .
The Commission has requested that Rodney make up a form similar to
the one used at the crematory releasing us from any liability once
a body is placed in our vault . We will review it at our next
meeting and copies will be sent to the funeral homes . Rodney will
reserve space in the vault for our own use .
A discussion on the budget followed . The Superintendent position
has been retained for this coming year.
Rodney gave each member a copy of our current rates . We will
review them and present our recommendations for any changes at the
December meeting. The changes would be effective Jan . 1, 1993 .
Deeds were signed and the meeting adjourned at 11 : 00am.
