03-03-1993 PINE VIEW CEMETERY COMMISSION

Present : Dougher, Edwards, Prime, Monahan and Supt . Mosher
Mrs . Dougher has found the deed transfering land on Sunnyside from
Hubble to Sanford and reserving thirteen feet on the west side of
the cemetery outside the fence for cemetery use .
There are fifteen bodies in our vault, the majority from St .
Alphonso Church .
Not wanting to take the lead and knowing that snow would prohibit
the project for them to have worked on anyway, Mr . Mosher
cancelled the use of prison labor having heard that the union
objected. It is his understanding that the union will object to
our CETA workers as well . Since the town does not pay for either
of these sources of labor and the Cemetery Commission feels that,
even with the summer help in the budget , we will be short handed,
Mr. Mosher was asked to get in touch with the Town Attorney to get
some clarification on how to proceed.
An abandoned 1980 Mercury wagaon was towed out of Pine View using
Joe' s Garage as directed by the Sheriff' s Department .
A lot sold in 1989 and offered back to us will be repurchased as
is usual in these cases : the purchase price is the original price
for the lot minus the Perpetual Care portion.
