Present : Dougher, Edwards, Prime, Monahan and Supt . Mosher
The Spring cleanup of the cemeteries is nearing completion .
Foundation pours are about to begin with two planned for May if
possible .
The vault is emptying out as planned. All bodies must be removed
before the end of May.
It seems that the Quaker Cemetery on the corner of Bay and Quaker
was never deeded to the town for $1 . 00 as had been agreed .
However, since, as far as the current members of the Cemetery
Commission know, no other abandoned cemeteries that are under our
care have been deeded to the town, we will continue to maintain
them all as in the past and as the Commission was instructed to do
by resolution of a past Town Board long ago .
