11-02-1994 Pine View Cemetery Commission Wednesday, November 2, 1994 Present: Robert Edwards, Commissioner Sylvia Dougher, Commissioner Rodney Mosher, Superintendent George Wiswall, Councilman Betty Monahan, Councilman Absent: Peggie Prime The regular monthly meeting was opened at 9:00am. • Rodney reported that the gas has been connected and is in service. An agreement has been made with TREE CARE by Stan Hunt. A work order has been prepared in the amount of$1,343: 3 trees in Jenkins Cemetery $847 4 trees in Mt. Hermon Cemetery $ 396 1 tree to be trimmed in Austin Cemetery $100 The agreement calls for the wood to be taken away. There were 45 cremations during October with a total for the year to date of 393. Fall cleanup is nearly complete. Wayne Merritt will be leaving soon and Mike Lopez should be back to work in December. A water line will be put in from Oneida across to Mohican. Draining of the pond is slowly progressing. The beaver have been removed. The notice regarding the prohibition of pinwheels and inflated objects was in the paper October 14, 1994, with an effective date of October 5, 1994. Pine View will continue their policy of sharing equipment when feasible with other town departments. Meeting closed at 9:55 am.
