12-07-1994 PINE VIEW CEMETERY COMMISSION
December 7, 1994
9:00am
Present: Dougher, Edwards, Prime, Supt. Mosher, Town Board members Monahan
and Wiswall
The cremations will number well over 400 this year and Rodney estimates growth in the
future.
The trees have still not been taken down by Jim Hunt and Rodney will keep after him.
We may have to encumber the agreed on sum for this work.
Mike Lopez returned to work in late November and seems to be doing well.
The water line is in for the Mohigan section and is tapped off at the Oneida for the
future.
Removal of inflatables and pinwheels is going well but we anticipate some problems at
Easter time. As with the artificial flowers, the objects are bagged and saved for the
owners.
There is a new funeral home in Wilton. Rodney has sent them information on our
crematory.
Geese from Sid Timm's are becoming a nuisance. Unfortunately, people are feeding
them and ducks at the pond and are not inclined to stop feeding the birds even when
asked.
Meeting notices for the Post Star need to be updated in writing. The Cemeterey
Commission will continue to meeting at 9:00am on the first Wednesday of the month.
Sylvia Dougher will ask Darlene to follow through with the update.
