04-03-1996 QUEENSBURY CEMETERY COMMISSION APRIL 3, 1996 - 9 A.M. PRESENT: Superintendent, Rodney Mosher Commissioners Sylvia Dougher, Bob Edwards, Terry Higgins We are still waiting to hear from Betty Monahan or the Town Board with regard to the Flagpole. The vertical blinds will be here sometime in April . The company did not receive our original order due to a faulty Fax machine. The Town has provided the Cemetery office with a desk and a stand for the copier. We have an early start on Spring clean-up and the grooming of winter graves, however, we need a good rain. Social Services is helping with the raking. Bob Edwards has contacted Mr. Rantorski and the problem is being resolved. Ed Matraw is doing exceptionally well and should be back to work in early May. Chuck Rice from Buildings & Grounds did a safety check and we are complying with his requests . Back support belts are being used by the Cemetery employees . Rod has heard nothing more from Enron. Darleen is looking into this . In response to a Future Space Needs Study questionnaire, Rodney indicated the need of a lunchroom for employees and expanded office space for dealing with the public. We were contacted by Barbara Lemmo that a lot needed maintenance and it is now being repaired. There are 22 bodies in the Vault. The new telephone system needs some fine tuning. There is a charge for every call made to the Town that is a 761 number. MARCH 1996 Cemetery: Crematorium: Interments $1, 290 . Cremations $9, 175 . Lots 1 , 750 . Cardboards 625 . Foundations 452 .
