01-06-1999 QUEENSBURY CEMETERY COMMISSION January 6, 1999-9 a.m. PRESENT: Supervisor,Rodney Mosher Commissioners: George Wiswall,Bob Edwards These minutes were taken by Rod Mosher and transcribed by Terry Higgins. There were 58 cremations in December for a year end total of 570. There were 18 more cremations in 1998 than in 1997. We have not received any information regarding the property which was sold to Northway Plaza for a total of$20,000. There is 8 inches of frost and no problems have arisen making interments. The Highway Department has promptly sanded the roads whenever they were called so that funerals could proceed. Rodney was out from December 14-January 4 with pneumonia and a brief stay in the hospital. Rod reported that Mike Lopez did an excellent job running the cemetery in his absence. • The cemetery is still waiting for a car. Rod is under the impression that a car will be leased for three years. Rodney made a year-end report and sent it to Mr.Champagne. There was a brief discussion about private cemeteries.
