REGULAR MONTHLY DIETING
Meeting was called to order-by President Joseph Regan
at 7 :45 P.M. All Commissioners present as well as Supt . Frank
Scoville.
Treasurer Frank Cowles reported that he had made a
Financial report to the Town Board on December 31, 1948.
A copy of this report is attached to the minutes of this
meeting. Also reported receipts of $55.00 since last
meeting which will be turned over to Supervisor H. Russell
Harris.
Discussion was held on salaries and wages and the
Board makes the following recommendations to the Town Board
of the Town of Queensbury :
Frank Scoville, Supt of Pine View = $200. per Mo.
Additional Labor - $.85 per hour
Secretary is directed to write letter to Supervisor informing.
him of our recommendations.
Reported that a snow storm on December 18th prevented
the Town Board and the Commissioners from meeting at the Pine
View Cemetary to pick out an area for. a "Free Ground" . A
meeting will be arranged at a later date .
Question was raised by Supt. Scoville about laborers
employed' by us ,, as to whether they should be paid-for holidays.
