REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING
January 21, 1953
All Commissioners present , also Pine View Caretaker, Franklin
Scoville & Town Supervisor, H. Russell Harris.
A discussion took place in regard to the enabling act •
being enacted to make more specific the powers of the Cemetery
Commission. Supervisor Harris is to contact the Town Attorney
and arrange a meeting to discuss the problem.
General discussion took Deice regarding the cemetery
property generally.

A letter was received making inquiry as to whether we
desired to purchase Lot 37 , Sec. 22, Uncas Plot now owned by
Loyal Davis heirs. His Son Joseph Davis lives in Hawaii . The
above lot cost Loyal Davis $80.00. Upon motion and vote , it
was decided to purchase the lot if the necessary papers were
drawn, conveying it to the Cemetery Commission. Secretary is
to take care of the matter .
