All Commissioners & Supt. present.
Bids were received for blacktop of roads (2100 Lin. feet)
and 4 corregated culverts from Ralph Elmore and Brom the Defiance
asphalt Corp. as follows: For 12" Corr. Culvert pipe, Installed:-
Ralph Elmore - - - $350.00
Difiance - - - - $238.00
and for blacktopping 10 feet wide for 2100 lin ft., $2,895.00
bid by Elmore and $2,380.00 bid by Defiance.
Motion duly made, seconded and carried that the Defiance Asphalt
Corp. be hired to place 4 - 12" Culverts for the price of $238.00 as
bid and that they also lay 2100 feet of roadway for the sum of $2,380
as bid.
