04-20-1960 100 Regular Meeting March 16, 1960 4:30 P:M. All Commissioners & Caretaker Scoville present. Treasurer, Frank L. Cowles reported that he had purchased 5 ,048.00 in November, 1964, 4 7/8% Treasurary Notes for the Perpetual Care fund and that the securities have been placed in our Safe Deposit Box in the Glens Falls National Bank & Trust Company. Receipts: - Sale of lots $195.00 • Interments 210.00 Vault rental 15.00 Sale of Logs 48. 50 Total $ 468. 50 A discussion took place on the advisability of cutting the logs in the circular area in front of the single interment area of the cemetery. It was duly voted to wait until a later date before taking any further action in regard to the trees in this area. Motion was duly made, seconded and carried to place the $48.50 received for the sale of logs removed from the newly developed area in the Perpetual care fund. Motion duly made, seconded and carried, directing secretary to order 250 Deed envelopes and 250 Cemetery plot cards. Discussion took place on the punchase of grass seed and weed killer. Caretaker Scovill was authorized to purchase same from Meade Nursery.
