WARREN COUNTY Y July 18, 1960 Mr. Sidney Van Dusen Office of County Clerk Lake George, New York Dear Sidney: This letter is written to you in your capacity as a member of the Cemetery Commission of the Town of Queensbury. Duane Buckbee left a bequest of $200.00 for the care of a cemetery lot in the Gurney Lane Cemetery. I had a conference with you and you indicated that if the bequest could be taken as general so the Commission would not be required to invest this $200.00 specifically for the application of the in- come you would accept the bequest as you already had other perpetual care funds. I wrote to Blanche B. Townsend, the executrix, and today I have a letter from Mrs. Townsend, in which she says that she is very satisfied with the suggestion that you accept the $200 .00 as a general perpetual care fund with the understanding that the Buckbee lot will receive the same general care as the otherlots in the Cemetery without specific reference to the income from this fund. Accordingly, I hand you herewith check of Blanche B. Townsend to order of the Cemetery Commission ofthe Town of Queensbury in the amount of $200.00 for the above purpose. Your very truly, AEB:D Albert E. Beswick , Encl.
