08-03-1960 111: Regular Meeting July 6, 1960 4:30 P.M. All Commissioners & Caretaker are present. Letter from Percy H. Fuller regarding his desire to sell Lot # 366 in Pine View Cemetery, was read by President, Charles Denny. Motion duly made, seconded and carried that the Secretary advise Mr. Fuller that we would be willing to purchase the lot from his for the amount he paid for it when it was purchased from the Pine View Cemetery Association. A discussion took place relative to the possible raising of the fee for openings to comEorm to the fees of other cemeteries in the area. Motion was duly made, seconded and carried that our opening fee be increased to $50 in Pine View Cemetery and $ 55.00 in outside cemeteries. This new fee is to be effective on August 1st. , 1960. Notice is to be sent to funeral directors/ Receipts: - Sale of Lots $ 260.00 Openings 90.00 Foundations 25 .00 Total $ 375.00 Meeting adjourned at 5: 15 P.M. A letter from Attorney, Albert Beswick conveying a check in the amount of $200 from Blanche B. Townsend, Exectrx. as a perpetual care fund for use in Gurney Lane Cemetery as bequeathed in the will of Duane Buckbee. Check was accepted and money is placed in the perpetual care fund. Letter is filed as a part of the minutes of this meeting. Caretaker Scoville is authorized to purchase a power lawn mower.
