REGULAR MEETING
April 5, 1962, 5:00 P.M.
All Commissioners & Supt. Scoville present.
A Discussion took place on the possible selling or
leasing of the Route 9 frontage of the Town Cemetery
property. Also, in conjunction with this, it was the feeling
of the Commission that it would be good policy to negotiate
for the purchase of the land lying north of the present
cemetery which is now owned by Sidney Timms for use in the
long-range futute expansion of the cemetery. This land would
be much better for gurial purposes that the land lying
adjacent to route 9.
Discussion on the assignment of care of outlying
abandoned cemeteries to various groups for the current year.
Cutting of brush & grass is awarded to the following:
Seelye Cemetery - Boy Scouts
Harrisena Cem. - Harrisens Church group
Sunnyside Cem. - Mountainside Grange
Jenkins Cem. ° It
Scotch Cem. It 1'
Gurney Land
Mt. Hermon ) All to be cared for by
West Glens Falls ) Town employees under
Frank Scoville' s direction.

All Commissioners Present, also Frank Scoville.
Supt. Scoville was authorized to purchase 2 power
rotary mowers from Sears Roebuck & Co. Store.
Discussion continued on the purchase of additional
property to the north of the Pine View property from Sidney
Timms. Sec. to talk to Mr. Timms about price , etc.
