Discussion on the need for drainage tile being placed
in the easterly part of the cemetery property so as to lower
the water table in that section so that burial lots might
be sold there. The State Soil Conservation department has
made a survey of the area, and they recommend that tile be
placed there, and they feel that this will solve the problem.
Anthony Esser has recommended atht 5$0*of 6" tile be placed under-
ground and that 50 feet of steel pipe be placed under the
roadway to carry the water to the brook. The Clay tile recommended
is available through the soil Conservation Dept in Saratoga.

Commissioners; Cowles, Van Dusen & Regan and Supt. Dunn present
Joseph Regan, newly appointed commissioner was present. Town Board
having appointed him for a term beginning July 1 , 1969 and ending
June 30, 1972
Motion duly made, seconded and carried that Sidney Van Dusen be
elected as chattman, Joseph Regan be elected Secretary and Frank
Cowles be elected as Treasnrer. Further, that the town board
be notified as the names of the new officers.

The commissioners authorized John Dunn, the Supt to Take out
Birch tree that was dead and repair Jack Hamme, also authorized
John Dunn to get Tile for drainage at:.320 per foot, approx 600Ft
also 50ft of steel pipe. Motion duly -made, seconded and carried
that Sid Van-Dusen to go to Town Board. and acknowledgemaNt0
receipt of ,$10,000.00 from sale of land ttp.
