RESOLUTION NAMING RIDGE/JENKINSVILLE PARK
RESOLUTION NO. 611, 1989, Introduced by Mrs . Betty Monahan
who moved for its adoption, seconded by Mr. George Kurosaka:
WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury has established a Town Park
adjacent to Jenkinsville and Ridge Roads in the Town of
Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is
desirous of establishing a name for the said park,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury
hereby designates the aforesaid park as the
Ridge/Jenkinsville Park, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the aforesaid official park name shall be the
official name of the said Town Park and shall be so referred
to on all official documentation used within the Town of
Queensbury.
Duly adopted this 24th day of October, 1989, by the
following vote :

RESOLUTION TO APPOINT MEMBERS TO ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON
ACCESS FOR THE HANDICAPPED
RESOLUTION NO. 612, 1989, Introduced by Mr. George Kurosaka
who moved for its adoption, seconded by Mrs . Betty Monahan:
WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury is desirous of establishing
an Advisory Committee on Access for the Handicapped,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury
hereby establishes an Advisory Committee on Acres for the
Handicapped for a period of one year, said term to expire
on December 31 , 1989 at which time all members would be
reviewed for reappointment, and appoints Margo Burrell ,
Nancy Calano, Katherine Cornwell , Joseph Denig, Suzanne
Helffrich and Ludwig Webber to serve as members of said
Committee .

RESOLUTION TO SET PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ENACTMENT OF LOCAL
LAW NO. 1989 - SEWER RENT LAW
RESOLUTION NO. 613, 1989, Introduced by Mr . George Kurosaka
who moved for its adoption, seconded by Mrs . Betty Monahan:
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury is
desirous of amending the Sewer Rent Local Law previously
adopted by the Town Board of January 17, 1989, by resolution
No. 50, 1989, and further amended and adopted by the Town
Board on March 7, 1989 , by Resolution No . 147, 1989 and
Resolution No . 230 of 1989, and,
WHEREAS, the amendment currently proposed would add to
Section 4 of Part 4 of the Sewer Rent Law two additional
properties against which sewer rents will not accrue as said
properties are served by the sewer facilities of the City of
Glens Falls and add to Section 5 of Part 4 of the Sewer Rent
Law one additional property against which sewer rents will
not accrue as it is not feasible to provide the sewer to
said property, and
WHEREAS, a copy of the proposed, amended Sewer Rent Law with
aforementioned amendments and all original provisions has
been presented at this meeting, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to hold a public hearing with
regard to the proposed amendments to the Sewer Rent Law,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by the Town Board of
the Town of Queensbury on the proposed, amended Sewer Rent
Law presented at this meeting on November 8, 1989 at 7 : 30
P.M. , in the Queensbury Activities Center, Bay at Haviland
Road, Queensbury, Warren County, New York, at which
hearing parties in interest and citizens shall have an
opportunity to be heard as to whether the Sewer Rent Law, as
amended, shall be adopted by the Town Board of the Town of
Queensbury, to include said new provisions, with the
remaining provisions of said Sewer Rent Law remaining
unchanged, and the same presently set forth, and
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk for the Town of Queensbury is
hereby authorized and directed to publish notice of the
aforesaid public hearing at least ten ( 10) days prior to the
time of such hearing is to be held in the newspaper
officially used by the Town of Queensbury for such notices ,
and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that copies of the Sewer Rent Law as proposed to
be amended, shall be made available and inspection of the
same may be had by the members of the public and other
interested parties at the Office of the Town Clerk for the
Town of Queensbury, Town Office Building, Bay at Haviland
Road, Queensbury, Warren County, New York, 12804 .
