'Re, the residents of the T'0,wn of Queensbury, being tax y)ayers
and riding on Bay Road respecfl.1y request that a speed zone of
35 mf_les per hour be placed in effect on said Bay Road beginning at
the City Line and extendinv north: on Bay Road to Glenwood Avenue
This being, the only road leading to Lake George with no speed
restrictions has become a- regular speedway..
This area is thicrly popula-ted and there are marry small: children
who must walk this road: to the- achool bus-.
We be this threat to our children and our community cam. be
only eliminated by an enforced speed zone.
We feel we are entitled to this protection and trust that the Town
Board will give prompt attention to this matter.

RESOLVED that the Town of Queensbury requests the State Traffic
Commission- to issue a regulation to limit t1e speed at which motor
vehicles may travel on the County Road known as the Bay Road norther-
ly- from the Glens Falls City Line to the janotion thereof with the
Town Road k own as the Croxin-Road .
Resolved that the Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed
to ma -e applicatiox for such speed limitation to the State Traffic
Commission. _
