RESOLUTION RETAINING SCUDDER ASSOCIATES, ENGINEERS,
SURVEYORS & PLANNERS REGARDING WEEKS ROAD REALIGNMENT PROJECT
RESOLUTION NO.: 195.95

WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury desires to retain the services of an
engineering firm to provide professional assistance in conjunction with developing final designs for the lay-
out and drainage of Weeks Road, and to provide other information necessary to obtain proper permits from
the New York State Department of Transportation, and
WHEREAS, Scudder Associates Engineers, Surveyors & Planners has offered to perform the
necessary engineering services for the project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby approves of the retention of
Scudder Associates Engineers, Surveyors & Planners to provide the services described in the preambles
hereof at a cost not to exceed $5,000., to be paid for from the Weeks Road Capital Project Fund #101, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor is hereby authorized and directed to sign an agreement for
the professional services, said agreement to be in a form to be approved by the Town Attorney.

Discussion held regarding hiring of engineer for asbestos removal at the Queensbury Water Treatment
Plant...it was the decision of the Town Board to have the engineers present a break down of costs.

RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby moves into Executive Session to
interview candidates for the Zoning Board of Appeals.
