Mr. Frank Cowles was present, and discussed with the Board the matter of the. salary increase. for, the Superintendent of. the, P nevieiy Cemetery. The following communication was read brT the Clerk: Mr. Russell Harris, Supervisor January 18, 1949 Star Route Glenn Falls , N.Y. Dear Russell: A meeting of the Town of C�„leensbury Cemetery Commission was held on January 11, 1949 for the purpose: of discussing the4 salary of the Pine View Cemetery Superintendent and also the pay of other help to be . .hired at the oemetery.• After a very thorough discussion of the entire matter, the- Comm- issioners Apish to make the following recommendations 'to the TovTn Board of the Town of Queens'bur T:: Salary of Superintendent 4200 per month Fes` Pay of extra help - 85 per hour. We wish to call to the attention' of the Board'm;tuber a,that tote salary of the Superintendent of Pine View CPmeter�T not only tales `care of the compensation of the Superintendent but also corers the cost of clerical work in connection with drawing of, deeds, making of maps , etc in connection with the sale of Lots in the Pine View Cemetery.
