1941-01-28 52 At 1:00 P. M. the Board reconvened all members being present. ' The Board continued the examination of the accounts of Justice of Peace and Supervisor. Mr, Beecher S., Clother also Present for the afternoon session. The Folling resolutions were presented: Mr, Lampson introduced resolution. No. 88 which was seconded by Mr. Nobles Resolved that this Board has examined the books of the Supervisor and found the disbursements correctly made. It is further, ,..� Resolved that the audit of the receipts be made after information furnished by the auditors showing amount and sources of all sums received, it is further, Resolved that the dockets of the Justices of the Peace were examined and money due the Town were accounted for. Turner, Town Clerk Regular Meeting January 28th, 1941 At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of the Town of Cueensbury held on the above date at 7:30 ,P*M. at the Clerks Office the following members were present: Jabew Ingalsbe, Supervisor Curtis Lampson, Councilman Charles Robles, Justice of Peace Meredith Bentley, Justice of Peace Ralph. Been, JuAice of Peace Bert D. Turner, Town Clerk H. Russell Harris , Town Superintendent of Highways was also present. Minutes of meetings held on December 23rd,, 28th, 30th :a i ., 31st, 1940 were read and approved. r i 53 ed Mr. William G, Maurer present a petitition signed by twenty-one taxpayers requesting zoning of Ridge Road. Communications were received. from Twent !three taxpayers along Ridge Road opposing the zoning of Ridge Road After discussion, the following resolution was offered: IlAs_olution No. 1. introduced by Mr. Lampson, seconded by <Mr. Nobles ., It was Resolved that the matter of the petition requesting the zoning of Ridge Roaf, be and the same is hereby laid over to the regular meeting to be held on the second Tuesday of March, 1941. It was Resolved that the Supervisor be and is hereby authorized to. appoint a committee of three members to obtain the report of Mr. Moore of the Association of, .Towns in reference to zoning in towns of Vie second class . and confer with the County Attorney in reference to same. It was Resolved that the Supervisor be and is hereby des- ignated to attend the ninth annual meeting of the Town . Association Meeting in Albany to be held•February 19th, 20th, and 21st, 1941, and to cast the vote- for- the Town of 4ueensbury. It was Resolved that the Town Officers of the Town of Queensbury be and are hereby authorized to attend the ninth annual meeting of the Association of Towns of the State of New York to be held February 19th, 20th and 21st , 1941 in Albany, New York. Furthur Resolved that all nece,#:nary expenses incurred by 54 such attendance by any Town Officer shall be a Town Charge.
