Resolved that the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury hereby adjourns from Regular
Session and enters into Executive Session to discuss CSEA Stage III Grievance,
Litigation National Grid Main Street Underground Utilities, Litigation Rittano and 2010
Legal Services Contract discussion.

DISCUSSION: South Queensbury Volunteer Fire Co.
SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING 12-14-2009 MTG # 46 2
Supervisor Stec-Discussed with the Board Members the proposal from South Queensbury
Vol. Fire Co.- Requested budget figures for a three year contract.
Proposal from Fire Co.- Requesting permission from the Town Board to spend $575,000
to replace an engine/pumper truck…including equipment. Seeking a tax exempt
financing with a ten year loan. Also requested to be allowed to cash a CD with
approximately seventy seven thousand dollars in it next year to pay off building mortage,
also agreed to used proceed from the sale of the old truck to be applied to the highest
remaining vehicle debt.
Town Board Members questioned the fire company if they didn’t seek multiple bids for
the equipment?
South Queensbury Fire Company-Bids were sought from six companies but only one
submitted a bid.
Supervisor Stec-At the next regular meeting the Town Board will set a public hearing to
be held on January 11, 2009 regarding this proposal.
