I. Motion was made and seconded to approve minutes of previous meeting.
Public hearing was opened on Evergreen, Sèct., 3 (#12-73) as
presented by Mr. Paul Pontiff, Attorney and '4".' John B. VanDusen,
, Surveyor .Motion made by Kirkpatrick, seconded by RobertfJ t~\
. ~ecommend preliminary approval; final approval withheld for further
. review of the road design. It wa. noted that only l~ lots would be
developed in 1974 pending completion of the water filtration plant.

6. Variance #335, Sperry Trucks, Inc.- requesting a leas than ~C7%
Enlargement of a nonconforming use in an R-4 Zone at 233 Bay Street.
Presented by Robert Barber, Vice president, approval wé.s recommended
-as par motion by Roberts, seconded by Richardson. This property
'Is planned for M"l Zoning in the future, .s pert of the parcel is
now M-I. .
7. Variance #336, Walter ~~eller, Jr.- to place a garage less than the
required setbacks on the property at Summit Lane. ~~. Moeller explained
that there was an easem.mt at the end of Summit Lane for a turn-
around and if he built his garage without removing some trees, he
would be too close to the easement. l~. h~eller did not build his
house, it was on its present site when he acquired it. Mellon moved
to recommend approval, as the Board finds it would create a hardship
and that this was the least variance that they could give to
accomplish the relief ~~. Moeller requests. Motion was seconded by
Kirkpatrick. It was noted that the Highway Supt. had given his approval.
8. Variance #337-Pyramid Structures, Inc.-to include entire parcel in
one zone, from R-5 to C-3 for commercial use. Motion by Kirkpatrick
to recommend approval in accordance with the in~ent of the ordinance
to include entire parcel In one zone. Seconded by Ue110n.
9. Special Pemt #47, Pyramid Structures, Inc.-for a Large scale planned
commercial development, on property at Aviation Road. Represented
by Robert Stewart, atty. the plans for the Pyramid Mall were presented
to the Board members for their review and decision. Kirkpatrick and
Mellon moved to recommend approval of theak."tølx...tar Special Use
for this zone. The Board commented that, "we reserve our consideration
of details of this shopping center and wish.to consider further the
screening of adjacent properties and thetr.fflc pattern."

meeting minutes of the Queensbury Planning Boarè.
Rezoning Request: William Kosi:.'echko - Zoning Classification
change to allow the construction of Garden Apartments on
the property situated on'tbe northerly side of Weeks Roads
(from C-3 to R-~). Motion made by S. Richardson'to'recommend
approval of Zoning change from C-3 to R..5, seconded by
Roberts. The Board feèls this is a reasonable use of the land,
Comment was made by a Board member that this was indicated
~s R~~ in the proposed Zoning change maps presently being
updated.
