MINUTES OF MEETING
SEPTEMBER 3, 1992
Minutes of the special meeting of the Recreation Commission of the
Town of Queensbury, held Thursday, September 3, 1992, in front of
the Queensbury Town Office Building, Queensbury, New York. Vice
Chairman Sperry called the meeting to order at 5:03 p.m.

Commissioners Auer, LaBombard & Sperry
ALSO
PRESENT:
Director Hansen
ABSENT:
Commissioners Carusone, Labatore & Simmonds (ex)
VISITORS:
None
Due to a lack of a quorum, the special meeting was adjourned
without conducting any official business. However, those present
boarded the Town van and proceeded to the Tri-City BMX track on
Campbell Road in Rotterdam, New York. The group met with George
Myers and Fred Albright, co-track directors who answered questions
and then conducted a short walking tour of the facility. George
and Fred answered many questions and explained the specifics about
BMX track racing. They also volunteered to help the Town and the
Department, if such a facility/program was under consideration in
the future. The tour concluded and after thanking George and Fred,
the group returned home.
