RE: CANCELLATION OF AUGUST MEETING
After reviewing the agenda for the upcoming meeting and considering the summer situation
and that some Commissioners will be away on vacation, it has been decided that the
regularly scheduled August 12th meeting of the Recreation Commission could be cancelled.
The September meeting, scheduled for Monday, September 9th will be held, at a yet to
be determined park site and will probably include a brief business meeting followed by
a short tour of the site. In any event, you will be notified in advance, as to time and
location and as always, if you will not be in attendance, please let us know. See you then.
P.S.: The summer program is going well and registration/attendance figures for most
programs are up. considerably. Will have specific details at the next meeting,
as well as a park project update. Call if you have any questions or concerns.
