Vice- Chairman Granger cålled the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M. PRESENT: Commissioners Granger, LaBombard, Martin, Councilman Morrell and Director Hansen ABSENT: Commissioners Bly (ex), Lemery (ex), Little (ex), Teti and Councilwoman Monahan VISITORS: Dick Morse (Morse Engineering) COMMUNICATIONS Dick Morse updated those present on the status of the Gurney Lane Pool Project. Mr. Morse reviewed the latest schematic design drawings of both the pool and the bath house, and there was some discussion about enlarging the entry/egress corridor area because of potential traffic problems from the men's locker room to the pool area. The group agreed that a seperate 8' corridor, similar to the women's area, would alleviate such congestion and the con- sultant was instructed to make the change. The group also discussed the location of the wood stove/ chimney and providing winter hot water for the lavatories in the guard room and these items were also agreed on. Mr. Morse relayed that he was working on the final design drawings, including an updated cost estimate which should be available shortly. Due to the lack of a quorum, the meeting was adjourned until the next scheduled meeting, which will be held on Monday, September 24, 1984 at 7:30 P.M.
