RE: Meeting Cancellation
After reviewing the agen4a for the Deceui>er meeting with a mmi:>er of
Cœmissioners and Town Board tœaDerS and because of the hectic holiday
season, it was decided that the upc.cming meeting on December 12th could
be cancelled.
. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Recreation Ccmni.ssion
will be on January 23rd at the regular tilDe.
Enclosed is a flyer of winter' programs, IOOst of which begin next
week. '!be flyer has been distributed and additicna1 prograns not appear-
ing on this flyer, will begin in January and be advertised individually.

ready and should be available for discussim by the ()Tmri ssion at the
January meeting.
If you have ar:ry questions çr concerns about Depw: t..Iæ11t programs

Attendence at the last two Q1mri ssion meetings in October and
November has been ~t less than adequate. 'Ibese meetings are
very :i.tq>ortant and serve a necessary purpose for the Recreation
Director and the DepartIœnt in terms of ~1IÙty feedback and
program evaluation. '
I understand that C.mmi f;sion members volunteer their time and
effort and this service is deeply appreciated. I also realize that
100% attendance annually be each individual is neither expected nor
possible because of ~rk and home responsibilities.
However, it is extremely unfair to those Cœmissioners and Town
Board members who do attend, when other Carmissioners fail to show or
even notify the Director and the result is the lack of a quortm.

Please, in the future, so that a tœeting can be cancelled because
of the lack of a quorum, contact the Recreation Director as soon as
possible. Thank you.
