10-05-1988 PINE VIEW CEMETERY COMMISSION
Oct . 5, 1988
9: 00AM
Present : Dougher, Edwards, Prime and Supt . Mosher
There was no formal meeting in September.
During a review of the charges for the Crematory, there was
discussion of the need for a second retort before very long. Only
four cremations can be done in one day and that number is
difficult . Should our retort go down, we need to have a back-up.
This will be part of our capital planning next year . The numbers
already justify the investment . The commission will vote next
month on adjusting the price of cremation and the other charges
for both the crematory and the cemetery.
The fence at Sunnyside must stay as is until the insurance
adjuster has had an opportunity to view the damage in place .
The Secretary is instructed to write Sage Patton concerning the
records of the family ownership of Lot 78, Section 27 in
Wah-Ta-Wah and Lot 38, Section 29 in Uncas . There are no deeds in
our possession but the records clearly show the family ownership
and there will be no problem when they need to have a burial in
either lot .
The Commission agrees to an even exchange of lots that will be
effected for Mr. and Mrs . William J. Winters who wish now to be in
the new section.
