11-09-1988 PINE VIEW CEMETERY Nov. 9, 1988 10: 15am Present : Dougher, Prime and Supt . Mosher Mrs . Dougher has spoken to Sidney Van Dusen, one of the original members of the Cemetery Commission, and no old deeds were turned over to the Commission in 1948 . There are, however, accurate records of ownership and burials which is not always the case in the outside cemeteries . Rodney estimates the cost of a second retort at $30, 000 to $33, 000. It looks like the income from the cemetery and the crematory may, in time, carry about half the budgeted expense of the Cemetery Department . The Secretary was directed to inform the Town Board of the recommendation that for the coming year the cemetary charges remain the same as in 1988 . The Commission also recommends that The charge for an adult cremation go from $125 to $140, for a child S$80 to $90 and for an infant $45 to $50. We lost two large trees to wind in Pine View last weekend. The Fall clean—up is coming along well . The check for the Mt . Hermon damage has finally been received and the fence will now be repaired. The adjuster has visited Sunnyside so we hope for progress soon. Interments 2500 Cremations 2170 Lots 9150 Containers 220 Foundations 1530 Misc . 20 13180 2410 Margaret A. Prime, Secretary
