12-04-1990 PINE VIEW CEME*TERY COMMISSION
DEC. 4, 1990
9: 00am
Present : Dougher, Edwards, Prime and Supt . Mosher
The charge for storing a body involved in a law suit for 77 days
was sent to the Tarantino firm but has not been paid. We' ve turned
this matter over to the Town Attorney.
George Boychuck began actively dumping on Pine View Cemetery
property near the crematory. He has been stopped, the material has
been removed and he is to stabilize the bank and cut off access
from his property.
There is new damage to the Mt . Hermon Cemetery from a two—car
accident . A new bumper rail has now been installed. Repairs are
needed to the fence and to two Van Dusen stones . Insurance of one
of the drivers will cover these repair costs .
Three trees came down in Pine View during the windstorm but there
was no other damage .
The rates for cemetery lots and services seem in line at this time
but we will look at adjusting crematory charges . Hourly rates have
shot up and we have not raised anything for three years .
