04-03-1991 PINE VIEW CEMETERY COMMISSION
April 3, 1991
9: OOam
Present : Dougher, Edwards, Prime and Supt . Mosher
There has been a good clean-up using our staff and prisoners . A
large tree was taken down professionally.
There is still a problem with the town road leading to the Jewish
Cemetery. Bob Edwards has taken a look at the situation and the
Commission feels that there must be a solution that will be
satisfactory for both the Jewish Cemetery and the West Glens Falls
Cemetery. Mr. Edwards will contact Paul Naylor again.
There is no police record of our fence being involved and damaged
in the latest accident at Mt . Hermon. Due to this oversight, a
claim must be made under the town policy. The fencing is rotten
and a decision must be made as to whether to just remove it or
replace it as we did at Sunnyside . Mr. Mosher will get some
figures together.
The crematory retort specs have been sent to the town attorney and
to the Town Supervisor . The Cemetery Commission will not authorize
any spending on the retort until it is understood by all how it
will be paid for.
