QUEENSBURY CEMETERY COMMISSION
May 7, 1997 - 9 a.m.
PRESENT: Superintendent , Rodney Mosher
Commissioners : Sylvia Dougher, Bob Edwards, Terry Higgins
Councilmen: Ted Turner, Betty Monahan
Plans for the new building or addition to the Cemetery Office are
going to be underway.
There are ten bodies left in the Vault . They should all be out by
May .23rd.
There were 46 cremations in April . - -
After considering the cost of seed and topsoil, Rodney decided to try
sod to top off the new graves . At a cost of $169 forty graves were
sodded to satisfaction.
- Foundations are being poured and spring cleanup is in progress .
Rod is working half-days and feeling well .
Community Mausoleums - The Commission is planning a study of the
feasibility:.and local. interest in ,a community mausoleum.
Sylvia will='oheek info"the progress of ThetGr°ange's plan fora new
sign for the Sunnyside Cemetery.
After many years of dedicated service, Sylvia Dougher' s commission
will expire June 30, 1997 and she will be retiring at that time .
