There were 56 cremations in-May
The Rules and Regulations signs made by Adirondack Highway are posted and all fences have
been removed. Most of the people that inquired about the removals were satisfied with the
reasons forthis action. Rodney will address the issue of an overly decorated gravesite.
We are still waiting for the fence to be installed at Quaker Cemetery.
A Resolution was passed by the Town Board reappointing Theresa Higgins to the Cemetery
Commission until such term expires on June 21, 2002.
A Resolution by the Town Board regarding the hiring of relatives was received by Rodney.
Pine View Cemetery is in receipt of a new white Ford Taurus.
There was a break-in on the night of June 15. A window was broken and and the coffee money
was missing. The Sheriffs Department investigated.
The State Police investigated the theft of a small object from a gravesite.
W nen the new budget is submitted Rodney will request a new dump truck and a new backhoe.
The old dump truck is 14 years old and the backhoe is 15 years old.
