REGULAR MEETING
November 7, 1962, 4:30 P.M.
All Commissioners & Supt Scoville present.
Discussion took place relative to the acquisition of the
Town of the West Glens Falls -Cemetery. The Riley family
has indicated that they are willing to give the Town of Deed
to all of that cemetery: A tentative deed was presented
and it was the desire of the Commission that the measurement
in feet of the present cemetery be included in the description.
It was suggested that the Town Surveyor be asked to measure
the cemetery and thus enable the grantors in the deed to indicate
at least approximate measurement of the property. It is the
understanding of the Commission that all available lots have
now been sold in the West Glens Falls Cemetery; and that we will
not sell any further land there.
Mr. William Chambers , on behalf of Mrs. O'Brien, has
conveyed the offer of Mrs. OtErien to accept 3 ,000. for her
12 lots in Pineview cemetery. Supt. Scoville is to check the
area of all lots invilved and report to the commission.
