All Commissioners & Supt. Scoville, plus Paul Cushing present.
Full discussion on new bids for our new building took place.
Motion duly made, seconded and carried that the commission
take the necessary steps to accept the low bid of $17,500 placed
by Francis Collins: Approximatedly $13,000 is available in
this years budgdt to pay for new construction. This amount,
being inadequate to meet the cost of the project, Motion was
duly made, seconded and carried that we go into the Town Board
meeting now in session and ask that additional money be made
available to us in 'the amount of $6,000 to enable us to
accept the low bid & proceed with the building. Commission
meeting a djourned to the Town Borad meeting where the commission
recommendation was presented to the Town Board by Secretary
Sidney Van Dusen. The Town Board acted favorably on the
recommendation and assured the Cemetery Commission that the
Town Board would take the necessary steps to secure a budget
note in the Amount.of $ 6,000 to give us adequate money to
proceed. -

Motion duly made, seconded and carried that our architect,
Paul Cushing be directed to write a letter of intent to the

Low bidder, Francis Collins, informing him of our intention
of letting the building contract to him as soon as the money
is available.

Constructionis well under way on the new building, and
a complete inspection of the work done so far was made by the
commission. Motion' duly made, seconded and carried that we
approve the payment of $8,235 on the contract for the work
completed to date as called for in the contract.
Motion made, seconded and carried to authorize the Supt.
to purchase 10 bags of Agrico from Dick Mead for $495 per
bag, less 25%.
Motion made seconded and carried that the Supt. purchase
2 power mowers made,
r use in Pineview Cemetery from Sears
Roebuck & Co. for $80.00 less 10%
Discussion on clearing abandoned cemeteries of grass &
Brush. It is hoped to be able to secure one additional man
for work on the outside at least during the spring season.
