Queensbury Cemetery Commission
c/o Sidney VanDusen, Co. Clerk
Warren County Municipal Center
Lake George, New York 12845
Dear Sid,
This will confirm the several conversations between Public Works Employees
and Cemetery Personal concerning 3 trees at the abandoned cemetery at the corner
of West Mt. Road and Luzerne Road.
The trees are in poor condition and a hazard to the traveling public as well
as the headstones, etc. in the cemetery. I believe a large limb fell within the
last few years narrowly missing some headstones.
Apparently it is impossible to notify anyone in authority and receive per-
mission since the cemetery is abandoned. We would like to notify the Commission,
however of our intent to remove these hazardous trees at county expense.
Very truly yours,
