GOVERNANCE FOR WARREN COUNTY

WHEREAS, the question has been raised of what form of government would be most fair
and equitable to the towns and city within the boundaries of Warren County, and
WHEREAS, the County Board of Supervisors has an inherent conflict of interest in studying
this topic, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury is the most populace Town within Warren County
contributing the most tax revenue to the County, and
WHEREAS, the taxpayer deserves the most equitable position of decision making at the
County based on population and Contribution to Warren County,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board supports the establishment of a Citizen
Advisory Committee at Warren County to research and report to the Board of Supervisors what
system of governance would be most effective for Warren County Taxpayers.
