I have reviewed the submitted drawings for the above project, and offer the
following comments:
1) Provide NFPA 13 letter at completion.
2) Fire extinguisher locations to be verified / discussed.
3) Locks / latches shall comply with the Fire Code of NYS, a key or thumb
turn on the egress side will not be permitted. Existing hardware on
doors (2) spaces V & U should be changed to panic hardware on south
side of new space.
4) Fire alarm system is existing, provide NFPA72 letter from fire alarm
contractor at completion. Fire alarm contractor needs to re-program
the F/A panel for new space.
5) Verify operation of existing Exit signs and emergency lights, no plan
provide additional may be required.
