I have checked many aspects of this repair in this affected area including: 1. Damaged and rotted wood was removed. 2. Proper size,grade and species of lumber used in the"sistering"of each joist. 3. Proper size,frequency and embedment of fasteners. Both nails and bolts were used in this repair. 4. Proper anchorage for both gravity loads and uplift loads. Items observed appeared to be completed to acceptable,relevant standards and codes. This report and the opinions expressed herein are based on my observations, analysis of the completed construction and other information relative to this site made available to me. It is based upon my physical inspection, investigation,education and professional experience.To the best of my knowledge and belief, it is my opinion that the foregoing report is a fair and true representation of the conditions of the project and site.
