RE: Sherman Avenue Storage Shed/Water hydrant issue
Dear Mike,
I would like to request that using the existing fire hydrant's to the west and east
of this property should be sufficient since there is a place for the fire trucks and
the hoses will reach without a problem. My request is due to the fact that
Sherman Avenue, if dug up, would continue to settle and it is almost impossible
to get proper compaction. I feel the road would have to be closed at the time of
construction and this could pose a site distance problem.
My recommendation is not to put hydrant on site.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call.

This letter is to formally request a temporary Certificate of Occupancy for the storage
units erected on Upper Sherman Avenue in the town of Queensbury. I am requesting
temporary relief from the blacktop paving requirement until June 2009 due to the
inclement weather at this time of year.
If, by July 1, 2009, the property has not been paved to previously approved
specifications, it is understood that the CO will be revoked until all required work is
