Roof Structure

Dear Sir:
I have looked at the manufacturer's data for the steeple proposed to go on the roof of New Hope Church,
and have determined that:
- The steeple is a model D-56 from Piedmont Fiberglass
- The steeple's length and width are 5'-0"
- The steeple's weight is 550-#
- The steeple is being supported by four(4)trusses—that is 137.5-1 per truss
It is my opinion that the existing trusses can support the extra weight of the steeple,and with the fastening
system shown on the attached Sheet A-1 also handle the wind loads for the area.
