The tests were performed to the east of the existing residence in the location near the existing absorption system. The results of the testing are as follows: Test Pit Percolation Test 0 — 14" Sand fill Stabilization percolation rate - 1" in 1 min., 10 sec. 14 —24" Organic Loamy Medium Fine Sand 24—63" Medium Fine Sand No Groundwater or Mottling observed to a depth of 123". The 30 inch deep hole was presoaked and the test was run 5 times; at a depth of 24 inches, until it stabilized with three consecutive runs of 1:03, 1:07 and 1:10 respectively. The existing absorption system consists of a new 1,000 gallon polly septic tank that was relocated greater than 10 ft from the proposed addition and a seepage pit.
