WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board serves as the Town's Local Board of Health and is
authorized by Town Code Chapter 136 to issue variances from the Town's On-Site Sewage Disposal
Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, TRSB Enterprises, LLC/Tom Rosecrans (Applicant) has applied to the Local
Board of Health for a variance from Chapter 136, §136-11(A), which requires applicants to obtain a
variance for holding tanks as the Applicant wishes to install two 2,500 gallon temporary sanitary sewer
holding tanks for its facility currently being constructed at 54 Carey Road in the Carey Industrial Park
in the Town of Queensbury,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Town of Queensbury Local Board of Health will hold a public hearing
on Monday, November 7t'', 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Queensbury Activities Center, 742 Bay Road,
Queensbury, to consider TRSB Enterprises, LLC/Tom Rosecrans' sewage disposal variance
application concerning property located at 54 Carey Road in the Town of Queensbury(Tax Map No.:
308.20-1-3.5) and at that time all interested persons will be heard, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Local Board of Health authorizes and directs the Queensbury Town
Clerk to publish the Notice of Public Hearing presented at this meeting and send a copy of the Notice
to neighbors located within 500 feet of the property as required by law.

Dear Mr. Strough and Board Members :
Highlander Engineering Services, PLLC (Highlander), representing TRSB Enterprises, LLC, is
submitting herewith an application for a variance to install 2-2500 gallon temporary sanitary sewer
holding tanks, for their new facility currently being constructed at 54 Carey Road in the Carey
Industrial Park.
A mound type septic system with absorption bed (as shown on the attached drawing WW-1) has
been designed for this facility, necessitated by existing soil conditions, and was included in the
package previously reviewed and approved by the Town Planning Board in February, 2016.
However, with the possibility of a municipal sanitary sewer main being installed on Corinth and
Carey Roads to serve the Carey Road Industrial Park, within the next year, the Owner (TRS$
Enterprises, LLC) wishes to pursue a variance to install the temporary holding tanks in lieu of the
mound type septic system.
If the municipal sanitary sewer main is installed on Carey Road, one of the holding tanks will be
converted to a pump station for the facility and connected to the municipal sewer main. The other
holding tank will be removed or abandoned in place in accordance with applicable Town of
Queensbury regulations.
If a variance for the holding tanks is granted the installation of the tanks will be in compliance with
Section 136-11: Holding Tanks, of the Town Code.
