RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE PERMIT FOR MOBILE HOME
RESOLUTION NO. 295 Introduced by Mr.John Austin who moved ita adoption,
seconded by r. ordon Streeter:
WHEREAS , Lucien J. Leroux has made application in accordance with
paragraph 2 (c) Section 4, of an ordinance of the Town of Queensbury
entitled; ORDINANCE FOR THE REGULATION OF MOBILE HOMES and MOBILE
HOME COURTS IN THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, WARREN COUNTY, NEW YORK, to
locate a mobile home at property situated at Corinth Road, and
�— WHEREAS, this town board h3 conducted a public hearing in connection
with said application and 'has heard all persons desiring to be heard
in favor of or against said application, and
WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that the facts presented in said
application and at said public hearing are sufficient to authorize
the issuance of the' permit requested by said application, and
WHEREAS , the following stipulations must be met, the trees along the
raed will be kept neatly as a screen and all town regulations be met
and all ruHish will be picked up. . . therefore be it
RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of the above mentioned
ordinance, permission is hereby given to Lucien J. Leroux to locate
a mobile home at property situated at Corinth Road and that the Building
Inspector is hereby authorized and directed to issue such permit in
accordance with the termiu and conditions of said ordinance.

Noted is object was to present evidence for axar sholder for both sides
of Aviation Road from the Northway Exit 19 to the West Mountain Road, to
ensure safety of Bike riders, Pedestrians and Drivers. Mr. Thompson proceeded
to give a detailed indepth account of his- upmprehensive study he-made during
the summer. Mr. Thompson presented the board with a three hour traffic
survey, a descriptive outline and a 229 name petition to support his convic-
tions.
Supervisor Austin: Noted his pleasure at the descriptive attounting that Mr.
Brian Thompson gave . . . he expressed his thanks to Mr. Thompson noting
that the Town Board has been considering Bike Paths and that his study

will help in the correlation of this project.
Mrs. Whiteman-Mrs.Bacas- of the Twicwood AreaUDresented the Town Board
with a Petition-"We, the Undersigned, request stop signs on Montray
Road, at the Intersection, df'-:Twicwood Lane and Cedarwood Drive, Thereby
Creating a Four-Way Stop. " Both women expressed the danger at this
intersection in regard to the children and the school bus stop. . .
Supervisor Austin: Referred to the Chief of Police for his report. . .
RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 28 OF THE TOWN
OF QUEENSBURY ESTABLISHING THROUGH HIGHWAYS AND STOP INTERSECTIONS IN THE
-- TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, COUNTY OF WARREN AND STATE OF NEW YORK
RESOLUTION N0. 298, Introduced by Mr. John Austin, seconded by Mr. Daniel
Olson:
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury has. received a petition
from several residents of the Twicwood Area in the Town of -Queensbury
requesting stop signs be placed at the intersection of Montray Road with
Twicwood Lane and Cedarwood Drive so as to create a four-way stop at that
intersection, and
WHEREAS, it is provided by Sections 1660 (a) (1) of the Vehicle and Traffic
Law of the State of New York, that a Town may create stop intersections
and establish the same within such Town, and
WHEREAS, section 130 of the Town Law provides that a Public Hearing be
held upon all proposed ordinances and amendments thereof to be held upon
due notice as provided for therein, now there66re, be it
RESOLVED that a Public Hearing on the following proposed amendment to
Ordinance No. 28 of the Town of Queensbury be held on the lst day of November,
1973 at 7 : 30 o' clock PM, and that the Town Clerk give notice of such hearing
by publication of notice thereof in the official Town newspapers , once at
least 10 days prior to the date specified for such hearing, specifying the
time when and the place where such hearing will be held and in general the
terms describing the amendment to said Ordinance:
AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 28 OF THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY TO CREATE A
FOUR-WAY STOP AT THE INTERSECTION OF MONTRAY ROAD, TWICWOOD LAND AND
CEDARWOOD DRIVE IN THE TOWN OF QUEENSBURY.
BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED
BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE
TOWN OF QUEENSBURY, WARREN
COUNTY, NEW YORK AS FOLLOWS:
Section No. 1. - Ordinance No. 28 of the Town of Queensbury, establishing
through highways and stop intersections in the Town of Queensbury, County
of Warren and State of New York is hereby amended to include as a stop
intersection, the intersection of Montray Road, Twicwood Lane and Cedarwood
Drive, which are hereby designated as stop intersections and stop signs
shall be erected on Montray Road, Cedarwood Drive and a stop sign shall be
placed on both the north and south side of Twicwood Lane where the same is
intersected by Montray Road and Cedarwood Drive.
Section No. 2 - All Ordinances or parts thereof of the Town of Queens-
bury incopsistant with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed;
provided, however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such
inconsistancy and in all other respects this Ordinance shall be in addition
to the other Ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter covered
by this Ordinance.
Section No. 3 - This Ordinance shall take effect immediately.
