OSB must be glued and screwed entire length of joists both sides with no breaks caused by bridging Hurricane clips must be nailed to top plate not through paneling 10/12/18 Framing Not Approved As per my inspection today the interior of the bedroom where the roof repair is incomplete has been leaking for quite awhile and has some mold evident on the rafters and osb roof sheathing. The exterior wall where the panel box is mounted is soaked and the wood paneling is all buckled from the moisture behind the wall. Judy Plude the tenant states that the lighting in the trailer has been flickering and now her washing machine will not work. I have directed Raj Shah the property owner that he needs to start the repair work on this trailer to get it weather tight and then remove all the paneling and insulation from the walls to dry them out and disinfect them. He will need to hire an electrician to repair whatever damage has been done electrically due to the leaking roof. The electrical work will need to be inspected by a certified electrical inspector. I have also asked Judy Plude to please make arrangements to stay with someone until the hazards have been eliminated.
