The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. with a salute to the
flag.
The public hearing on the application of Hugh C. Dever to locate
a Mobile Home on Connecticut Avenue, West Glens Falls, New York
was declared open at 8:01 P.M.
Proof of publication was presented by the clerk.
Mr. Hugh C. Dever was present. No one spoke in favor of or against
the application. The hearing was closed at 8:07 P.M.
RESOLUTION° TO AUTHORIZE PERMIT FOR MOBILE HOME
RESOLUTION No. 274. introduced by Mr. Robillard, who moved its adoption,
seconded by Mr. Austin.
WHEREAS, Hugh C. Dever of Connecticut Avenue, West Glens Falls, N.Y. ,
has made''application in accordance with paragraph 2 (c) Section 4, of
f an ordinance of the Town of Queensbury entitled: ORDINANCE FOR THE
REGULATION OF MOBILE HOMES and MOBILE HOME COURTS IN THE TOWN OF
QUEENSBURY, WARM.`-;COUNTY, NEW YORK, to locate a mobile home outside
of a duly ,licensed mobile home court at property situated Connecticut
Avenue, West Glens Falls, New York, and
WHEREAS, this town board has condudted a public hearing in. conntction
with setd� a'pplica.tion and has heard - all' persons desiring to be heard
in favor of or against said application, and
WHEREAS it -is hereby determined that the facts presented in said
application and at said public hearing are sufficient to authorize
the issuance of the permit requested by said application, for the
€ellowing reasons: There were no persons in appearance in opposition
to the granting of the permit, there was sufficient hardship shown,
and the application had the approval of the Building Inspector, there-
fore be it
RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of .the .above mentioned
ordinance, permission is hereby given to Hugh C. Dever of Connecticut
Avenue, West Glens Falls, N.Y. to locate a mobile home outside of a
licensed mobile home court at property situated at Connecticut Avenue,
West Glens Falls, N.Y. , and that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to issue such permit in accordance with the terms and
conditions of said ordinance.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
-- Ayes: Mr. Desboski, Mr. Austin, -Mr. Robillard, Mr. Robertson and
Mr. Solomon.
Noes: None
Supervisor Solomon announced that identification stickers are being
printed and will be issued to town res dduts to enable them to gain
admissien=to the landfill area. The stickers are to be attached to
auto bumpers and they will be mailed along with an explanatory letter
with the ''annual tax' bills. Bonafide,re gidents of the town who, as
renters, are not on the tax rolls may obtain the sticker from the town j
clerk on showing proof of residency and auto registration. A second
sticker for a second vehicle may also be obtained from the town clerk
by showing entitlement. The sticker system will probably take effect
February 1, 1971. This system is being put into use because of the
gross misue by out-of-town residents of the landfill site.
Supervisor Solomon stated that a report from George .Liapes, Building
Inspector, was received noting two buildings within the town found
to be in violation of 'the unsafe buildings and structures ordinance
adopted last week. The board will make an inspection and proceed
under the ordinance to notify the owners.
Councilman Austin asked the councilman as well as the public to notify
the Building Inspector or the councilman of any buildings which may
be in violation of the unsafe buildings and- structures ordinance.

RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE ATTENDANCE AT CONFERENCE
RESOLUTION No.275, introduced by Mr. Demboski, who moved its adoption,
seconded by Mr. Robertson.
RESOLVED, that permission is hereby granted to George P. Liapes, and
LeRoy Phillips to �attend the conference meetings of the New York State
Building Officials School, to be held in Colonie' and New York City
starting on January 14, 1971 with New York City dates being February
18 and 19, 1971. Actual and necessary expenses , incurred in such atten-
dance shall be a proper town charge.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Mr. Demboski, Mr. Austin, Mr. Robillard, Mr. Robertson and
Mr. Solomon.
Noes: None
Supervisor Solomon announced that the regular meeting scheduled for
Christmas Eve would be canceled and perhaps a short afternoon meeting
would be held on December 23rd for the .year-end audit of bills. The
annual meeting and audit of town books with town officials will be
held on December 30, 1970 at 8:00 P.M. ....
RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AUDIT OF BILLS
RESOLUTION No. 276, introduced by Mr. Robertson who moved its adoption,
seconded by Mr. Austin.
RESOLVED, that the Audit 'of Bills as listed in Abstract 70-12B numbered
#2394 through #2395 inclusive and totaling $1,188.51 is hereby approved.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Mr. Demboski, Mr. Austin, Mr. Robillard, Mr. Robertson and
' Mr. Solomon.

meeting opened to the public. No one wished to speak. The
meeting was closed to the public.
Councilman Robillard advocated a ban on parking on streets and highways
from 3 A.M. to 6 A.M. as necessary to facilitate snow plowing. The
reeommendation was referred to the highway committee.
Supervisor Solomon remarked that the agenda for the evening was light
because time had been reserved for a public hearing on the rezoning
request from United States Catheter and Instruemt Corporation. The
i - application for rezoning was withdrawn Wednesday night with United
States Catheter announced that final engineering studies showed sub-
surface conditions of the Bay Road'.property :to be unsuitable.
On motion the meeting was adjourned.
