Councilman Robertson discussed the problem of lack of Equipment
in the Department of the Superintendent of Highways. Mr. Robertson
stated that new pieces of equipment are on order but to date, same
have not been delivered. The problems of handling the recent storm
was discussed at length by Councilman Robertson.

RESOLUTION TO FILL .VACANCY ON RECREATION COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 280, introduced by Mr. Demboski, seconded by
Mr. Robillard. !

WHEREAS, a vacancy now exisits on the Recreation Commission due to
the resignation of Joseph A. Lughes, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that Donald Chase, 5th Street Extension, Town of Queens-
bury, be and he hereby is appointed a member of the Recreation
Commission of the Town of Queensbury effective this date, and to
serve for the remainder of the term of -Joseph A. Lughes, said term
to expire on February 27, 1970.
Duly adopted by the following vote:
Ayes - Mr. Demboski, Mr. Robillard, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Solomon.
Noes - None
Councilman Demboski reported that after serving on the Recreation
Commission for one year, Mr. Joseph A. Lughes has seen fit to
resign due to increased duties at his place of employment, the
Glens Falls Insurance Company.
Councilman Robillard stated that Mr. Donald Chase is employed by
the General Electric Company and is an active member of the West 3
Glens Falls Fire Company.
On motion the meeting was adjourned.
